Changing a status is different from editing information. Only the issue plan editor can change the status. If you have authority to change the status of this issue plan, a status change link will appear .
If you submit a status change, you will have to CONFIRM the status change on the next screen.
The following are possible status options
Periodically (or upon your request) “Approved Issues” are changed to “Approved In-Revision” to allow for annual updating. You can still report against an issue that is in the “Approved In-Revision” status.
For new issue plans: Once the status of an issue has been changed from or “In-Progress” to “Approval Requested” the issue is no longer editable.
For current issue plans: Once the status of an issue has been changed from “In-Revision” to “Revision Approval Requested” the issue is no longer editable.
Issue plans can be retired and they will disappear from your POW. You will no longer be able to report against these issue plans.
Issue plans can be deleted if no reports are attached to the plans. Deleted plans are visible from your search menu for a short period of time. System administrators will periodically purge all deleted plans after which time recovery is not possible.
Consolidating the issue into another issue: This is only used to combine v2 components into one issue. If you select this option, this issue plan will disappear from your POW. Past activity records will remain attached to this plan. At some point, in the near future, system administrators will manually consolidate this issue into its original partner issue from v2. This consolidation will take place if the partner issue from v2 is retired or still active (approved). If none of the partner issues from v2 are available (retired or approved), then you will be contacted by someone to confirm your intent. This option will disappear when migration from v2 to v3 is complete.
